Colouring Non-Even Digraphs

چکیده
A colouring of a digraph as defined by Neumann-Lara in 1982 is vertex-colouring such that no monochromatic directed cycles exist. The minimal number colours required for loopless to be its dichromatic number. This quantity has been widely studied the last decades and can considered natural analogue chromatic graph. $D$ called even if every $0$-$1$-weighting edges it contains cycle total weight. We show non-even at most $2$ an optimal found polynomial time. strengthen previously known NP-hardness result showing deciding whether graph $2$-colourable remains NP-hard feedback vertex set bounded size.

Surjective H-Colouring over Reflexive Digraphs
The Surjective H-Colouring problem is to test if a given graph allows a vertex-surjective homomorphism to a fixed graph H. The complexity of this problem has been well studied for undirected (partially) reflexive graphs. We introduce endo-triviality, the property of a structure that all of its endomorphisms that do not have range of size 1 are automorphisms, as a means to obtain complexity-theo...
متن کاملThe complexity of colouring by locally semicomplete digraphs
In this paper we establish a dichotomy theorem for the complexity of homomorphisms to fixed locally semicomplete digraphs. It is also shown that the same dichotomy holds for list homomorphisms. The polynomial algorithms follow from a different, shorter proof of a result by Gutjahr, Welzl and Woeginger.
متن کاملextremal skew energy of digraphs with no even cycles
let $d$ be a digraph with skew-adjacency matrix $s(d)$. then the skew energyof $d$ is defined to be the sum of the norms of all eigenvalues of $s(d)$. denote by$mathcal{o}_n$ the class of digraphs on order $n$ with no even cycles, and by$mathcal{o}_{n,m}$ the class of digraphs in $mathcal{o}_n$ with $m$ arcs.in this paper, we first give the minimal skew energy digraphs in$mathcal{o}_n$ and $mat...
متن کاملColouring Non-sparse Random Intersection Graphs
An intersection graph of n vertices assumes that each vertex is equipped with a subset of a global label set. Two vertices share an edge when their label sets intersect. Random Intersection Graphs (RIGs) (as defined in [18, 31]) consider label sets formed by the following experiment: each vertex, independently and uniformly, examines all the labels (m in total) one by one. Each examination is i...
متن کاملVertex-transitive digraphs with extra automorphisms that preserve the natural arc-colouring
In a Cayley digraph on a group G, if a distinct colour is assigned to each arc-orbit under the left-regular action of G, it is not hard to show that the elements of the left-regular action of G are the only digraph automorphisms that preserve this colouring. In this paper, we show that the equivalent statement is not true in the most straightforward generalisation to G-vertex-transitive digraph...
